7 Tips to have great holiday
1. Buy a pair of Anti-Mist Goggles, and a Snorkel
It adds a whole new experience to your adventures at the beach. There are some magnificent waters along the Costa Brava, and they are filled with some friendly and curious fish, you’ll never see the beach the same again. (Ask us about QUALITY goggles)
2. Buy a Quality Lilo*
Who knew floating about on the water wasn’t just for kids. Why else did you go on vacation? Yes, you may look like a kid on one of them, but if you get a decent one, you’ll be floating, relaxing and taking the sun in absolute peace. (Ask us about QUALITY lilos)
3. Take the Road less Travelled, and get Lost
There are many beautiful places that the main roads avoid, due to convenience. If you have the time, and are feeling a little adventurous, you may well end up finding a very idyllic town, or a very intimate place to have lunch or dinner. You can’t really get lost, and you’ll end up laughing at yourself while trying to ask for directions, from one of the many friendly Catalan people.
4. Visit the Roman and Iberic Ruins
They are incredible in scale, and well preserved. They make you wonder about the evolution of man, the development of language, and the choices they made so that you may be there. It is great discovering that was important to them, is still important to us now. (Ullastret, L´Escala, Roses, Platja Castell, and others scattered throughout Baix Empordá)
5. Do One Activity that you Enjoy
Be it Kayaking, Rafting, Diving, Jet-skiing, Sailing, Golfing, Hiking, Hot air Ballooning, Mountain Biking, Sky Diving, Paintballing, Quad-Biking, Horse-Riding or any of the others available.
6. Do One Activity that scares you
Be it Kayaking, Rafting, Diving, Jet-skiing, Sailing, Golfing, Hiking, Hot air Ballooning, Mountain Biking, Sky Diving, Paintballing, Quad-Biking, Horse-Riding or any of the others available.
7. Take a Nature trail and leave the path
You never know what you might find. There are still some ancient megaliths and ruins that exist, open, only discovered by those who deviated from the path. If you are capable, we recommend exploring every part of the Costa Brava, and opening your mind to new possibilities.
Please be careful when doing any activity, and treat anything you may find with utmost respect. The Costa Brava is one of the few places that hasn’t been overly developed, and where a lot of towns and villages have maintained their medieval charms.
